Google+ is one of the most popular social networking site developed by Google. There is no any other social networking site which hit 100 million of active user almost as fast as Google+ did.
According to Google, 135 million of users are actively visiting Google+ and using Google+ each month and 235 million are using Google+ by +1'ing app in Google Play, hanging out in Gmail, connecting friends in search.
In the previous Google announce that they passed 400 million Google+ user in Mid-September and after one and half of month they reached other 100 million users.

Facebook was started on Feb 2004 and 5 years later only they reached 100 million of users and in case of Google+ reached 135 million of active users after 8 month they started Google+. From both status we can understand Google+ is growing faster than Facebook.
